SNAPPER CREEK HOUSE FIRE. Slow and methodical. It takes about 30 seconds for the Engine crew to perfectly complete a 2man hose deployment of the 150′ s-load for a typical confined space front door area. First Rescue is cool and calm (OIC took command, FF’s assisted with hose advancing up stairs and search). 2nd Rescue is also dressing out and ready to work (Threw up a 24footer and was venting 2nd floor windows by the time fire attack began). The scene was without any chaos at all, just the way it should be. Heads up actions by a civilian got a young teen out of upstairs shower prior to our arrival and before she was completely trapped by fire.
